Hans Uszkoreit is a distinguished German AI researcher specializing in language and knowledge technologies. Based primarily in Beijing, he serves as the co-founder and scientific leader of the Artificial Intelligence Technology Center (AITC) and holds the position of Chief AI Advisor at Lenovo Corporation. Additionally, he continues his work as a Scientific Director at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), focusing on collaborations in China and smart data projects. Uszkoreit also holds key roles as Principal Investigator at the Berlin Big Data Center, the German Smart Data Forum in Berlin, the Cluster of Excellence MMCI, and the Collaborative Research Center 1102 at Universität des Saarlandes in Saarbrücken. Despite his extensive commitments, he remains active in academia, serving as an Honorary Professor at Technische Universität Berlin, where he teaches and supervises students. Furthermore, he contributes his expertise to various young technology enterprises as a co-founder and advisor.
